- I'm modeling a laser beam on imagine 3.0 using white fog cylinder which
- is also a light, within a second blue fog cylinder (the outer glow of the
- beam). However the beam is too transparent, I've changed the fog setting
- of both cylinders from 0.01 all the way to 100 but this has no effect on
- the transparency of either cylinders in the final render!!! Also the
- quick render in the detail editor produces very different transprency to
- the final project editor render (I am using scanline in the final render
- aswell). Can anyone help? Does anyone know a more realistic method of
- doing a semi-transparent laser beam? maybe a procedural texture. Also do
- Impulse have an E-mail address?
-
- Thanks in advance
